FAQ

1.) How is Kaleo connected to IHOPKC?

Kaleo is an IHOPU Forerunner School of Worship affiliated intensive training program. A majority of our Kaleo leadership and instructors have graduated from IHOPU with a 4-year certificate or have been involved in an IHOPKC internship to some capacity or form. Though we have good relationship with IHOPKC, Kaleo - Prayer and Worship Training Center is an locally ran organization.

2.) What is the Harp & Bowl Model?
The International House of Prayer (Kansas City) Harp & Bowl Model is a practical tool that has helped sustain ongoing prayer and worship at IHOPKC for nearly 2 decades. The Harp & Bowl Model serves as a communication tool for worship teams and enables them to flow together in spontaneous moments and sustain ongoing prayer and worship meetings. At Kaleo we teach this model as the basis for students to learn different worship values and applications that can be applicable to their different worship and prayer contexts.

3.) Can credits be transferred to IHOPU?
While Kaleo is an IHOPU affiliated school and the curriculum was formed in partnership with IHOPU, we are not accredited at this moment through IHOPU. Therefore, credits are currently not transferrable for an IHOPU certificate.

4.) Is Kaleo an accredited Bible school?
While the Kaleo - Prayer and Worship Training Center does not philosophically oppose accreditation, we realize that our goal as a training center is not to be known as a bible school for those pursuing a seminary degree, but rather an equipping center for all believers who desire to grow in a lifestyle of prayer and worship. Therefore, Kaleo is not presently pursuing accreditation as a Bible school.
